ANCILLIARY ACTIVITIES
Zonta and St Cloud
both ROCK!!!!
Along with conducting the business of Zonta, we are busy planning some
FUN!
Consider coming in early and browsing our many eclectic shops in the
downtown area or taking a short ride to our shopping mall called
Crossroads. If you are driving in from the south, you might consider
stopping off at the Shops at Albertville right off I-94 about 45 minutes
from the airport. Loads of great shops there!
On Thursday evening, our Hospitality committee will host an evening
gathering with a light dinner with a Minnesota theme (probably soups and
sides) for those who choose to arrive early. There will also be a
Gold Rush Party held in the hospitality room
that evening. I'm sure there will be more happening, but you'll have to
wait and see.....
On Friday morning, our
Diamonds in the Rough Golf Outing and
Jewelry Fashion Show begins at 8:30 AM with Registration.
This is our 7th Annual Golf Outing and we would love to have you join us
and the community for a fun morning of golf, liquid refreshments, lunch,
a silent auction, and a jewelry fashion show given by local jewelers --
and the models are picked from the audience! If you want to form
your own team, great! If you would like us to place you on a team
- we will do that also!
For those arriving via airport vans (or those with rentals that would
like transport to the Golf Course and back), just let us know that and
we will arrange it. This link will take you that portion of our
web site dedicated to our Golf Outing. You will find a link to the
Entry form there, but I'll
include one here also!
Friday night, following our business session, the hospitality room
welcomes you again with another
Gold Rush Party
-- this one for those who didn't attend the Thursday night party. There
will also be a
Pub Crawl - but more on that
later...
For our walkers and strollers, we will have walking maps as well as
directions to the Munsinger Gardens and the Clements Rose Gardens --
both a must see.
