DELEGATE INFORMATION
Delegates to the 2011 District 7 Fall conference are entrusted by
their club's members to vote on a variety of issues - some known ahead
of time, some that might arise at the conference. They must attend
all business sessions, weigh the information provided carefully, and
vote - keeping in mind the feelings and wishes of their club members.
This year, there are proposed changes to our Rules of Procedure. A
copy of these proposed changes have been mailed out to the Club
Presidents. A copy is also posted
here.
All District 7 Zontians should review these proposed changes and discuss
them with their Club members and let their delegates (once they are
selected) know their feelings/opinions on the proposed changes.
The Nomination Committee's slate of candidates (as of 7/6/2011) has also
been mailed out to the Club Presidents. An updated version (as of
7/8/2011) is posted
here.
There will be an Orientation Session for all delegates on Friday
afternoon, starting at 4:00 PM. We've blocked off an hour for
this, but it might not run that long. ALL DELEGATES SHOULD
ATTEND!! This orientation will go over the voting process - both
the ballot process on Saturday morning as well as the voting process
during the conference.

We are, this year, providing the
proposed District 7 Budget to the clubs prior to the conference.
This will allow the clubs sufficient time to review the proposed budget
prior to conference. If you have any DETAILED questions, or
questions that may require research to answer, please send them in
Mary Nimmerfroh who will forward them on to the Interim Treasurer
for review.
