Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

This scholarship provides financial assistance to a high school senior woman who:

 

• Is pursuing post-secondary education in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

• Has excelled in any of these fields with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

• Is enrolled in an area high school.

 

The scholarship is paid to the student, and the award varies based on available funding capabilities. The award is $1,000.

 

An application includes presenting an essay, references and recommendations from high school teachers in these particular fields.

 

Applications are reviewed by a committee and granted based on merit.

The application deadline is March 1st each year with award selection in April.
